St. Joseph's Medical Center – Full-Time Core Faculty OB Anesthesiologist

Dignity St. Joseph’s Medical Center is developing an Anesthesia Residency Program and is seeking core faculty OB anesthesiologist. Our faculty will be extremely engaged with resident education and career development. They are a vital component of our Anesthesiology Residency Program, which will equip residents with the skills to work with a variety of patient cases and contribute to the world around them. New grads welcomed! $50k sign-on available.

Job Summary

• St. Joseph's Medical Center | Stockton, CA | (https://www.dignityhealth.org/central-california/locations/stjosephs-stockton)
• 8 ORs | 357 beds
• ORs start between 7 am and 7:15 am
• 12,500 cases | General, colorectal, ortho, spine, thoracic, cardiac, vascular, cath lab, IR, endo, OBGYN, ENT, podiatry, plastics, some peds | OB 2,500 cases
• Case mix: Hospital and ASC environment with fair schedule
• Four calls per week 1^stcall in house one time per week, 2^ndcall one time per week from home, 24-hour OB call one time per week, 24-hour OB call one time during weekend.
• Post call off after 1st call not 2nd

• Independent CRNA practice in a collaborative MD/CRNA model

Requirements

• Active state license 
• ACLS | BLS
• Requisite specialty expertise and documented educational and administrative experience
• Academic achievement in Anesthesiology acceptable to the Review Committee
• Current certification in the specialty by a primary medical specialty board or specialty qualifications that are acceptable to the Review Committee

Compensation Package 

• $515,000 - $550,000 (W2/PC Contracting)
• $25,000 – Core Faculty Stipends
• $50,000 sign-on bonus
• 10 weeks paid time off (W2) or 42 weeks of Contract Services
• Option to practice as 1099 Indpendent Contracted Physician
