Responsibilities of the Anesthesiologist

• St. Barnabas Hospital | Bronx, NY |  https://www.sbhny.org/
• 8 ORs, 2 Endo, 4 LDR, 2 LD OR, 1 NORA per day | 422 beds | L1 Trauma |
• Starts 7 am to 3 pm
• Care team model
• Call is 1:3 – 1:4
• 5,100 cases per year
• General, level 1 trauma, ENT, breast, ortho, ophthalmology, plastics, podiatry, urology, vascular, neuro, OB/GYN, bariatrics, thoracic, gastro, colorectal, endo, dental

Requirements of the Anesthesiologist

• Active state license | DEA
• Board certification | Board eligible if in process
• ACLS | PALS

Benefits for the Anesthesiologist

• Per diem W2 compensation: $250/hour
• Medical professional liability insurance
• W2 or PC (1099) options
