Lehigh Valley Hazleton Hospital – Per Diem Call Anesthesiologist

 

A Level IV Trauma Center and teaching hospital with accreditations and approvals by more than 30 organizations, including The Joint Commission, Institutional Accreditation for Graduate Medical Education, American College of Surgeons, and American Board of Surgery, Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazelton is one of nine hospital campuses in the Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHH). Serving Northeastern Pennsylvania, the staff at LVHH goes the extra mile to further the hospital’s mission to heal, comfort, and care for the people of its community. Located just 40 miles from the New York/New Jersey border makes it drivable to New York City and Philadelphia. Residents of Hazelton enjoy the proximity to a ski resort and golf course, and plenty of opportunity to hike and bike the trails throughout the area. Job Summary

  • Seeking per diem anesthesiologist for evening and weekend call hospital, remote call or stay in house. Call back averages 1x per week
  • 200 deliveries annually
  • Weeknight call 3 pm to 7 am and weekend call Saturday 7 am to Monday 7 am
  • Lehigh Valley Hazleton Hospital runs four operating rooms with an average case volume of 2,600. Case mix includes bread and butter, minimal GI, OB, and general
  • $1,000 weeknight, $5,000 for weekend
  • Daily per diem shifts also available at hospital and surgery center
  • W2 or PC (1099) options

 

Requirements

  • Active state license
  • Board certified or eligible (in process for recent graduates)
