A 158-bed community hospital, it is in the southern part of Sacramento. Among the many services it offers are neurological care, orthopedics, cancer care, heart and vascular care, women’s health and a family birth center, and an emergency department. Job Summary

• Methodist | Sacramento, CA | (https://www.dignityhealth.org/sacramento)
• 4 OR | 2 ASC | 1 OB | L2 Trauma
• 6,351 cases per year
• Ortho, general, uro, GYN, ENT, plastics, GI, vascular
• 3 MD model rotating weeks working 2 weeks on, 1 week off for a total of 35 weeks annually

-MD1: night float only (7 pm to 7 am on call)

-MD2: daytime supervising 2–4 CRNAs depending on # of ORs running

-MD3: off

• Alternate model could be the MD1 & 2 rotating call/post call off every day of the week for 1–2 weeks in the cycle.
