NuHealth System, Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) is the region’s premier Level I trauma center and a well-regarded teaching hospital. The hospital is well on its way to achieving the goal of becoming a national model of what a state-of-the-art public hospital and community health care system should be and realizing its vision of setting standards in teaching and research. NUMC’s desirable location in Nassau County checks every box for those who want to be close to New York City without living the “city life.” Great suburban neighborhoods, excellent public schools, rich history, an easy commute to Manhattan, and some of the greatest beaches, parks, and ski facilities all within driving distance. The evening/night float position offers independence from the daily daytime demands while offering generous compensation, work life balance and professional satisfaction.   Not to mention, world-class domestic and international airports are minutes away.
