Opportunity Details 

• Ascension St. Joseph’s Hospital | Tawas City, MI 
• 4 ORs, 1 C-Section OR, 1 MPR 
•  47 beds 
•  2,500 cases per year 
•  General, orthopedic, ENT (including peds), ophthalmology, endoscopy, OB/GYN, plastics | No heads, no hearts 
•  Call is 1:2 (facility runs 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off schedule) 
• Typical day: 7 am – 3 pm 
•  CRNA-only facility (surgeon supervised) 

Requirements of the CRNA 

• Active state license 
• NBCRNA certification 
• ACLS | PALS 
• Regional anesthesia skills

Ascension St. Joseph’s Hospital 

Ascension St. Joseph Hospital, a non-profit healthcare system. Great schedule with working a total of 26 weeks a year with an ideal schedule of two weeks on, two weeks off! This 50-bed hospital is in rural northeast Michigan in Tawas City. This facility is an all-CRNA model allowing the CRNAS to practice independently. There are approximately 200 deliveries a year.
