Opportunity Details 

  • Anesthesia Care Team model with physician supervision of CRNA  
  • >40,000 cases| >40 anesthetizing locations | 5 facilities    
  • Subspecialty areas: Cardiac, Neuro, Transplant, OB (~6K deliveries), Peds, etc.   
  • Leadership positions: Chief, Medical Director, Section Heads, etc.  
  • Teaching and program development opportunities: residency, fellowships, etc. 

 

Requirements 

  • Active state license | DEA | State CDS 
  • Board certified  
  • BLS | ACLS | PALS

The Methodist Transplant Institute [“MTI”]  Physicians, nurses and support personnel have made it a leader in the field of organ transplantation for more than 40 years. Each year, MTI completes kidney/pancreas (6), kidney (250) and liver (80) transplants in its state-of-the-art transplant facility featuring the most advanced technology. MTI, in partnership with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, is a well-known contributor to the field, with its own Translational Research Lab focusing on transplant tolerance, genomics, transplants in patients with cancer and ischemia reperfusion. The Lab is involved in several NIH-funded grants and is the recipient of a $20 million endowment to expand its efforts. The MTI Team has been significantly bolstered with specialized surgical specialists, medical specialists, nurses, and other support personnel over the last 5 years. An active area of focus is to broaden, deepen and strengthen the profile of the transplant anesthesia service.
