Per Diem Anesthesiologist – Island Health 

Anesthesiologist needed in Anacortes, Washington to join our team!  

This Level 2 Stroke and Level 3 Trauma Center has been serving the community's healthcare needs for over 60 years. Services include cardiac rehabilitation, family and internal medicine, cancer care, gynecology and obstetrics, diagnostic imaging, sports and spine care, surgery, urology, pediatrics, physical therapy, pulmonary rehab, and more. The hospital handles approximately 6,000 cases annually (Main OR: 2,803, Endo: 2,756, and OB: 438). 

 Benefits 

• $220/hr. 
• W2/PC (1099) options  
• Travel and Lodging Stipends 
• Malpractice Limits/Carrier, 1 mil/5 mil paid by Company - W2 ONLY 
• Termination Notice, 90 days 
• $500.00 Pager fee for weekends, $220/ hr. if called in. 
• $250.00 Pager fee for weekdays, $220/ hr. if called in. 

Responsibilities 

• Case mix: General, Blocks, OB, Ortho, Uro, Gyn, GI, Spines, ENT, and Peds 
• No Heads, Hearts, or Vascular. 
• 3 ORs, 1 Endo, and OB coverage for 3 labor rooms 
• Call types: Remote pager call 
• Charting and software:  
  • EMR/EHR: Meditech Expanse – anesthesia charts on paper 
  • Medication management/digital pharmacy: Pyxis 

Requirements 

• Active state license 
• Board certified
