Hospital System Profile 

• St. Joseph's Medical Center is a 355-bed Academic Medical Center and part of the Dignity Health system. St. Joseph’s is the largest hospital in San Joaquin County and considered the 10th busiest cardiothoracic department in California.

• St. Joseph's Surgery Center is a dedicated surgery center and part of the Dignity Health network. It offers high-quality, compassionate care to the Stockton community and surrounding areas. The center provides a range of surgical services, including ENT, general surgery, and GI surgery.
• The Ambulatory Surgery Center is a specialized surgical facility and part of the United Surgical Partners International network. It provides a wide range of outpatient surgical services. The center is known for its high patient satisfaction.
• The Anesthesia Residency program started in July 2021 with 10 total Residents (4 PGY2/CA1 and 6 PGY1) and with approval for an additional 6 new Residents annually up to 24 total in the program.
• Residency subspecialty training currently available at St. Joseph’s include cardiac, obstetrics, critical care, acute and chronic pain and pediatrics.
