Charlotte Hungerford Hospital

Situated in the largest city in highly desirable Litchfield County, Charlotte Hungerford Hospital’s roots in this wonderful community are deep. An accredited acute-care, 109-bed hospital, they have been serving northwest Connecticut since 1916. Believing healthcare is a team sport, Charlotte Hungerford entered a partnership with the renowned engineering team from MIT to become even more efficient, more responsive, and safer. The collegial team members at this hospital know they are making a difference in people’s lives at the time they are needed most. Living and working in this part of New England, smack in between Boston and New York City, offers residents and their families so much to do in the way of sports, nature, culture, amenities, and community that it is no wonder people who visit want to stay. According to one post on Niche, “I was a traveler here in Torrington working at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. I love the area. I decided to move here from Ohio. If you love the outdoors, this is the place for you. I have the best of both worlds: the beach and hiking.”
