Somnia Anesthesia, a physician-owned and led anesthesia group, seeks a Chief of Anesthesia at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital in Germantown, TN

  

  

Compensation:   

  • $625k base
  • $50k Chief Stipend
  • $25k Commencement Bonus
  • $25k Annual Retention Bonus
  • 9 weeks PTO  
  • Relocation Assistance Available to $10k  
  • $5,000 Education/Professional Stipend

Details:  

  • Anesthesia Care Team mode-Supervise 6 MDs and 19 CRNAs daily 
  • Teaching and program development opportunities with academic appointment  
  • Annual # of Cases: 20,000 | 4,000 Deliveries 
  • Case Mix: General, Ortho, Cardiac, Neuro, OG/GYN, ENT, GI, Optho Plastic, Pulmonary and Vascular 
  • Electrophysiology  & structural heart cases
  • Part of the Methodist Le Bonheur Health System, which includes the following facilities: 
    • Methodist University Hospital
    • Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown
    • Methodist North Hospital
    • Methodist South Hospital
    • Methodist Olive Branch Hospital – Olive Branch, MS  
  • Lead a dynamic team, which includes the following: 
    • Daily stand-up huddle 
    • 3x Weekly OR planning meetings
    • Physician Advisory Council
    • OV Steering Committee
    • Weekly Anesthesia Department Meeting
    • Executive meetings with hospital leadership 
  • First 60/90 Day Initiative
    • In staffing for OR to build relationships with surgeons and staff (1:4 ratio)
    • Periodic staffing as appropriate/needed

 

Requirements :

  • Active state license | DEA | State CDS 
  • ACLS | PALS | BLS
  • Experience preferred
